The mentioned of Dunkirk immediately made me think of Dunkirk in France and the 2nd World War (British &amp; Allied troops on retreat were &quot;rescued&quot; by hundreds of privately owned boats crossing the English Channel just after the start of WW&quot;).

So the 1812 war starting nearby is kind of spooky - I wonder if there is any &quot;deeper&quot; association between the two places.</description>
